They put me on the first floor near the elevator. After driving 5 hours, I needed to change clothes and freshen-up a bit, so agreed.
The person checking me in stated she had a room, and it would cost $15 extra to check-in early. When I arrived, I did ask for an early check-in. I was looking forward to a nice get-away for Thanksgiving 2022.
